Thank you for all your help.
I had the orange wire in the wrong block, it was in with the programmer and boiler wire.
Now I've put it in the correct place with the black wire from cylinder stat and blue wire from boiler.
All working fine.

Hi,
Thought all was well, but not so!
turn HW on and get hot water.
Turn HW off and turn CH on, rads come on.
Turn both on together, I get one or the other and not both!
Turn power supply off and the valve comes to rest with the lever towards the centre left.
Turn power on and select HW the valve stays where it is and I get hot water.
Turn HW off and CH on, the valve moves all the way over to the right and the rads come on.
Turn HW and CW on together, valve will stay where it is and only the rads heat up.
Are you confused yet, 'cause I am!
Any ideas please??
