Hi

I have a hinge on my uPVC double glazed window that needs replacing as there is a bit too much play that stops the window from closing. Have to give the window a tap to push the inner part of the hinge into place for the window to close.

I have been looking on the internet tonight for a replacement and currently cannot find the hinge.

In the picture (sorry will upload better one tomorrow) it is the hinge closest the wall / window edge.

The hinge seem to have two cascading parts that slide on top of each other.

Any help gratefully received.

they are called "stay guides"...screwed to top of sash and to top underside of frame....look under the bottom of the sash you should see who mfr the window might be in bright red or something like a barcode with the name on the upvc profile..give them a call for part....or look into the glass unit onto the spacer silver or gold should have mfr name on this.
