Hi,

I'm looking to change the taps in the bathroom basin.
Can someone please let me know:
  1. What fittings these are.
  2. How do I separate them, do I need a specific tool.
  3. Can I still get them if not what can I use instead.
All help and advice greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Jim

Exactly what Dan says.

They used a “M” ring instead of the standard “O” ring, they leaked for fun especially once disturbed.

They were so poor Wavin dropped them and purchased Hepworth just to get hold of Hep2o.

Thanks Dan.
They are all over house pipework.
What's best to replace them with given that it's plastic pipe that's there already.

Personally I would go with Hep2o fittings and their stainless steel inserts or you could use compression fittings with copper olives (you still need the inserts)
