Hello guys,
New house and starting to poke around.
In the airing cupboard is the shower pump fed from the hot water cylinder.
The hot supply tees of the main outlet pipe from the cylinder so I guess the cylinder is not fitted with a shower attachment, so, When first turning on the shower the air is sucked out of the tank and heads towards the shower.
Just before the shower mixer on the hot supply is an AAV I think.
Should the black screw be tight or opened a little?
Is it really necessary as the air goes through the pump anyway so seems a bit pointless as it won't prevent pump cavitation.
Thanks
