Last time I had to fit any rads they were stelrads or plumb centre own makes top and side grills which was many years back, so what would you fit in your own houses atm ?

Poor steel and paint finish
There's a story behind this.
Barlo radiators went bust over brexit overbought raw materials. They made many of the own brand radiators sold through Wickes, toolstation and f+p wholesale.
The only manufacturer that was big enough to plug the gap was Kartell radiators however there build quality and paint finish isn't great.
Go for either Stelrad or rettig purmo.
Interestingly Rettig bought all the intellectual rights to the Barlo radiators which is a pity as there a polish company.
