Hi the render on my house has had it – large cracks and hollow sounding in many areas. I have has two builders come round to give quotes (none of which have come back yet).
One builder recommended the use of k-render saying you won’t have to paint and its’ been designed just for this so it’s a better product.
The other builder has said to use stucco as it’s a stronger product due to having 3 layers and it will last longer than k-render. He also said that k-render was not designed for this country and algae will appear on it after a few years.
Can anyone advise please?
