We've just had our loft converted and are in the process of decorating now. In the bathroom the head height is only 2.03m. In the shower even less due to the shower tray. Clearly the ceiling in the shower is going to get directly wet, not just damp from steam but directly splashed, pretty much constantly when using the shower.
Whats the best way to protect the ceiling? Its currently just plastered.
Will paint suffice, although I can imagine it would need regular re-painting?
I had saw some shower ceiling solutions, I guess basically a plastic sheet glued to ceiling, has anyone had experience with this? Would have to make a cut-out for the sealed downlighter in the shower and seal around that cut-out I assume, would that make it hard to change the bulb?
