There is no script for project management. Too many variables.
It may be a fun learning curve though or an expensive catastrophic one. The principals of building are basically the same in that you start underground and work your way up.
However, problems and pitfalls are all unique and only experience will dictate how well you deal with them. If you can get this from a book then good luck.
