I am sanding and painting the skirting alongside my staircase. To speed things up I thought I would just remove the section of quadrant nailed onto the top of the skirting and replace with new rather then sand off the existing stain as it would be difficult to remove stain that is in the small gaps between the skirting and quadrant.
I'm having difficulty sourcing a continuous length of quadrant long enough to cover the length of skirting. I need at least 300cm but B&Q only do 90cm lengths.
Does anyone know somewhere in London I could get such a length of quadrant with 15-20mm sides?
