Hello all
After a little advice if possible.
I moved into a house with a large garden, around the edges is allot of grass / weeds perfect for a brush cutter (never used one before)
I want battery as its cleaner and less service and quiet.

I have been looking at the Ryobi one+ 18v one but reviews are mixed on Amazon.
Does anyone have one / know of someone who has one? Are they any good?
I like the idea of having this and other tools with the same battery.

Thoughts on the Ryobi or another cordless battery option?
Mainly to cut weeds & Bramble.
I need a strimmer also as the brush cutter woudl destroy the edging.
Any advise welcome
Cheers

I just bought a brush cutter last year on the recommendation of a landscaper mate. Mine is a petrol (Honda) 4 stroke, so quieter than normal, but in my first season of strimming, the thing I've found is you may struggle to cut brambles with a cordless... you need a large diameter line to cut through tough weeds, I'm using 2.4mm which is thicker than a lot of budget models can cope with.

Also the Honda can be fitted with 3 sided metal blade instead of line, this makes mincemeat of thicker brambles and saplings etc.

Ive also used a stihl with plastic teeth instead of line, it cut pretty well, but being 2 stroke petrol is noisy.

The landscaper mate has said Honda, Stihl and Stiga are decent makes.

Hope you find something.
