I have an old timber door that I am going to use on my shed. The door has been dipped previously and is now back to bare wood - but I quite like how it looks as is - are there any suitable preservers/treatments out there that will leave a clear matt/satin finish, without changing the colour?
I could use a a clear preserver, but will this cause the door to go silver over time?
Any suggestions? Or will I have to use a stain with some pigment in it?
