I usually buy Dulux matt pure brilliant white. My painter said he likes Leyland. (He's a good painter) I'm now having to do some painting myself (cash strapped). If I use Leyland do you think it would be the trade contract he would use. I don't like to ring and ask him given he's not doing the job. Any comments from the time-served?
Also, with regard to the woodwork, I usually gloss but what is most popular at the moment?
Many thanks

The Leyland Trade contract is OK, you might need to apply more coats than you would if you we're using Dulux Trade though.

consider eggshell on the wood work. It is lower sheen and shows fewer imperfections.

Here in London, I only have a couple of clients how prefer gloss over eggshell.

I would always rather use the Dulux Trade eggshell, the Leyland stuff does not cover as well.
