Which nail gun?

Hi chaps,

Considering using a nail gun rather than hammer to attach 200 fence pales to the rails for a picket fence. Guess I'll need two nails per rail per pale, so 4 per pale, which is 800 nails. No thanks.

Question is, what type of nail gun do I want to hire? I know many will be too powerful. Where do you get the appropriate galvanised nails? At the hire shop.

Any advice is appreciated.

But, FWIW: go to the Hire shop and they will set you right for a cordless gun and nails.
Why even bother with a nail gun? They can be dangerous in unskilled hands, and 800 fixings by hand is neither here nor there.
