Chaps,

Which paint should I try to cut-in to acheive a visually good straight finish where a wall meets the skirting board? Skirting is white gloss and wall is sandstone emulsion?

ps. the joint between the skirting and wall is uneven and has been filled, in places, with caulk.

Thanks

The traditional and professional way is to paint the walls first then the skirting board.

That is the order which I did it but the joint line between the skirting/caulk and the wall is not very tidy. I guess that if the skirting is the last coat to get applied then that is the one which needs to be cut-in.

You guess right, My Lord. You could get that Ex butler who worked for your Ex Mrs. to do it - and while he`s down there kick his sycophantic arse
