Which Shower ..

We need to replace our shower. Existing one knackered - Triton Jade II 8.5 kw. Can anyone please recommend a shower? I've had a Gainsborough and Triton now and they don't seem to last very long.. Any advice, recommendation very welcome. Many thanks

Mira Sport Thermostatic is my preferred model.Get the most powerful one that your cable will run. 9.8kW is the one I recommend to my customers, but get it checked by an electrician if in doubt, before buying one.

I've just checked our fuseboard to see what amp the shower is running from. It runs from a 45 amp so do you think we can run a 9.8 kw shower? Thanks

The fuse is ok, but you need to check the cable size. one would expect to see 10mm with a 45 amp fuse, but who knows in the real world of today

Best get a qualified sparks in to check it out first.
