Hello,

Hopefully just a quick one. I need a 50 gallon tank. There are two to choose from. One is a coffin tank!? There is £50 difference

Its to go in the loft to supply normal bath room services and a mixer shower.

Can anyone suggest some extra fittings for cold water tanks i.e I will need a separate water feed to the shower etc.
Have also added a 'Wessex' flange on the list for the hot water tank.

What do you guys reckon?

Thanks.

basically it`s down to what will go through your hatch and into the loft  . Yes you need a separate cold to the shower ;)

Well the hatch is pretty heft size now after much sawing! Either will fit, so why the £50 difference?

Cheers for reply

assuming the coffin is dearer.....have you seen what undertakers charge  ...and a coffin will go places the other one won`t ...Long live the Free Market Economy ;)

Fortunately I am not well versed on undertaker fees!
Long may that live!

I don't like the idea of a coffin in the loft as I already have whiskered bats up there..... people may talk....

the idiot that fitted mine put the second one in my loft. Everything is working fine and I think the only difference really is that some people can only get one type through the hatch and as a result there is a premium for those poor buggers.
