Whining halstead combi

Hi, I have a halstead ace high combi and when the heating is on it emits a constant whining noise when it heats up. I've recently changed the diverter valve for the hot water and that seems to be working fine.
I have a feeling it's the water pump but not sure.
Any ideas?
