my whirlpool awm 1204/4 is making a bad smell when in use. i'm guessing the filter needs cleaning but i cant seem to take it out?? there is a small door at the bottom right of the machine front. inside is what looks like the filter but when i unscrew it, it doesn't actually come out it just comes loose. help please.....
