Whirlpool AA1200 Drainage, cycle problem !!

I have a Whirlpool washing machine AA1200 and whatever setting I put it on, it doesn't complete any of its cycles and does not then drain the drum properly. I have done the basics of draining the machine from the front drain pipe panel and clothes fluff and water was released, but this does not resolve the problem and it keeps happening everytime. Is there anything else I can try myself to fix this ??
