Whirlpool ADP4501/5 Not Washing

Hi,

My Whirlpool ADP4501/5 has stopped washing the dishes properly. When it starts the cycle it drains OK then starts to fill with water but the arms do not seem to be spinning - If I open the door after the cycle starts the arms seem to be in the same position as when I started it off.

The dishes come out as dirty as they went in but with the dirt dried on.

The dishwasher is only 12-18 months old

Any suggestions ?

Check the spray arms for blockage. Especially the end holes.
Do you actually hear the water being sprayed?

I have removed the spray arms and flushed them out under the tap and made sure water came out of all the holes.

When the cycle is running I can here water flowing but not spraying if that makes sense.

Check that the pipework to the top spray arm is plugged in at the rear of the filter (if your machine has internal pipework).
Alternatively it's possibly a fault with the circulation pump/motor.
