whirlpool dish washer

I recently purchased a whirlpool dishwasher GU2400. I use Cascade Complete gel, no matter how little of it I use, my rinse is asways soapy. Even at the end of the cycle I see soap suds at the bottom of the dishwasher. This wasnt an issue with my previous dishwasher. I was suggested to switch detergent brand, but I really doubt thats the problem. I tried using both liquid and powder, results are the same. I am forced to run my dishwasher twice, if not 3 times, to get my dishes properly rinsed. Does anyone have any idea what the problem might be?
