hi, i've got an ellston tank in the loft of my house and recently fitted a thermostatic mixer shower and fitted a T450i electric single propeller shower pump to my hot water supply to boost the hot water to the shower as its gravity fed, the pump is above the shower in the loft from the ellston tank at the same height. i've wired the pump to the electricity but the pump isn't working.
i would be grateful for any advice on how to get the pump working or any reasons why it isn't working

I dont know this pump, however......
Have you followed manafactures instuctions as to the positioning of the pump and its available head? Normally one would need a negative head pump in this situation.

Elleston tank?? is that a make of indirect cylinder? cold water cistern? the one after Sherman?

As mrgas suggests read and follow the pump fitting instructions. Triton's very clear on the set up their pumps need. What made you choose to site the pump where you did?

What make & model of shower is it? I think if you read their instructions you'd probably bought a different pump too.
