Wickes ballast

Random question about building materials, does anyone know how much the wickes ballast bags like this weigh:

The local merchants seem more expensive for single bags like these but they list them as 25kg.

just wondered whether it was general knowledge that wickes materials like this were good value? Or they weigh less so don’t compare

I always assume those 'major' bags are about 22kg to 25kg.
As you suggest, About the same as a major bag of sand, or a bag of cement.

Always saw those bags of ballast as good value. But I have to lift them home. So never buy many as soon trashes car. Great when need small batch of concrete.

Positive aspect of Local merchants is that they are local so less damage and milage on car, and give me discounts when I buy more than a few, and often deliver.
