Will i need a new relay?

Hi all, new here so bear with me,

My thermostat packed in this weekend and won't cause the boiler to fire up. I've tried re-binding it and even went as far as putting it in the freezer for a few minutes... still nothing. Hot water is fine, and if i turn the stat to "off" the relay clicks off as it should.

Anyway, i currently have a hc60ng relay. I'm wanting to upgrade my stat to something more modern. I can get hold of a HoneyWell evohome controller / stat for £110~. Can anyone tell me if i can bind this to my existing relay okay? It seems to be the same RF.

I can't tell you about compatibility but does the heating work if you press the button on the receiver box? Doesn't the Honeywell Evohome come with a receiver?

It does, bgtu you can by the bare unit too.

However, i think there are compatibility issues with the HC60NG.
