Hi all. I've been to a job today to wire up a Solar Thermal install. I have a feeling the plumber is using up some new/old stock as he's installed a Wilo pump with the extra PWM cable in the pumping station. The solar controller he has provided doesn't have facility for PWM control. He wasn't sure what the additional cable was for apart from being something to do with efficiency and asked me if it could be used! I've been researching the pumps but I'm wondering if someone can let me know weather it will just run at full speed with the standard 230v connection. Terminating the PWM cable safely of course. Also if it will run, will full speed be ok for the solar system?
I guess maybe a thread for the plumbing and heating forum too!
