New laptop came with Win7 which I am starting to get used to. However, when I loaded my Microsoft office (small business edition) it did not install Power-point.

Anyone know what the problem is?

Hi,

I think Powerpoint is an optional install.

Put the install disc back in and look through the install program options, tick the box if it's unticked, and install it!

It is however possible that Powerpoint is not included in your version of office.

Cheers,

Charles.

Powerpoint is not on the CD  I have had to do an install from my old Microsoft Office 97 Professional Edition.

Office Small Business Edition (SBE) prior to Office 2003 do not include PowerPoint.
The Office 2003 Basic Edition doesn't include PowerPoint.

You could get the Microsoft Office 2007 Home and Student Edition (3 User Licence) (PC) and Download the corresponding Office 2010 upgrade software free when it is released in October. £72 for three licences, if you know anyone who will share, it is a bargain.

I now have power-point so thanks for all the replies/help.
