window cill

i need to put a new window cill as the mortar in it has broken so i need to rebridge the cavity with mortar or concrete, can anyone give me some advice on how to do this

Apply first piece then simply put another piece on top of the first to increase the height

and then another piece 3 times 3/8th board plus adhesive=1.1/2 inches

Just re read the post again , why dont you simply use a piece of proper bullnose window board ? that is about an inch and a half

because the heioght its a lot lower then the base of the window
