Hi,

I was leaning on our bedroom window sill, and noticed it now seems to move down when pressed.

Guessing there is a void underneath or something, the other window sills in the house don't seem to do this (yet).

Any easy fix for this? Guessing something along the lines of pulling the wooden window sill out, filling void, then refitting the sill?

Thanks

If it's wooden you could drill a hole, inject grip fill then fill, sand and paint the cill. The best way is to remove it though.

I've seen it before. Depends how it was fitted. Some are fitted on battens, others are onto plasterboard. The former could have movement. It could have been siliconed onto the substrate so that may have let go.

Take off the horrible plastic trim the window installers added, fill gap under the board with expanding foam, and refit the plastic trim
