Wire in pendant light

Hoping someone can help!

my electrician is on holiday and don’t want to disturb him with my lighting issues

I brought this ceiling pendant from b and q and hoping to install in my hallway

My hallway light has 3 wires coming down but the new light only has space for 2 and no earth

Any ideas or am I being stupid?!

Does the new light just hang from the Rose?

If so take the black cable out of the box you were holding and connect the Brown wire to the Blue/Sleeved switch live on the right of the Rose and the Blue to the left had side neutral block. It might look a bit odd with a black cable coming out the white rose though.

Or is the light supposed to hang from the ceiling without a Rose? Have you a photo of the complete unit if it does?

and join all the earths in the earth terminal (the brass one on its own)

If theres room above the ceiling and the base of the light will cover the hole, do all you connections in one of these and put it above the ceiling.
