I have a Ferroli DOM Project F24D bolier in a house in Spain and wish to fit a Wireless Programmable Room Thermostat.
Ferroli state it must be voltage free!!!!!!!
Can any one tell me which thermostat would be suitable and how is it fitted.

The majority of them now have 'voltage free contacts' which can be used as such, or can be connected to a live supply and switch that if required.

If you find one you like the look of, conduct an internet search for the installation instructions and you will be able to see if it has voltage free (aka potential free) contacts. I fitted a Salus RT500 6 months ago, it didn't cost much, works fine and is easy to use.

As already advised most controls these days are voltage free on the switching side, but check where in Spain your place is as there are still 110V AC areas in Spain and UK controllers wont work on that voltage
