Hello.
I wonder if anyone can give me a hand working out my wiring (at least...the easiest wiring) for the above.
I currently have a regular light at one end of my kitchen. I have checked inside the rose and there are three wires (the feed, the the switch and outgoing feed) and each of these 3 wires is 3 core.
The idea is to replace this light with 8 GU10 50watt pendent lights all operated by a single one-way switch.
Firstly..am I right calculating this as 50x8 = 400watt total load and 400/240v = 1.67amps?
My thinking is this gives me plenty of slack if I use a regular 6amp switch yes?
Secondly... whats the best way to actually wire in this number of lights?
I was thinking a couple of junction boxes or something?
Thanks a million for any advice.
