i have a 7.2kw oven and a separate hob 4.3kw. i know i need to run a 10mm2 twin and earth to a control unit then a cable to the cooker spur then how do i wire the hob? it is less then 2m away so it can come off the same control unit?

The best solution is to run 2 radials, one for each. 6mm² will do for both unless there are derating factors (run through insulation/high ambient temps etc).
