Can anyone shed any light on this for me?
I have a client who has a broken manual thermostat, a Sunvic TLX5101 which he wants replaced with a digital stat, a TLX7501.
The original stat wiring is connected to a Gledhill Thermal Heatstore system, to the stat terminations as follows:- Yellow wire from SL on Gledhill to Pin 8 (Heating load) on remote stat, Red wire from L on Gledhill to Pin 1 (L?) on stat and finally, Blue wire from N on Gledhill to Pin 2 (N?) of stat. The Earth wire is not connected.
How do I wire up the digital stat? Is it:
Yellow/SL to pin 2 on the TLX7501 (ON)
Red L to Pin 3 or C on the TLX7501 (C)
So where does the Neutral or Blue wire go? Is it needed as this unit operates via batteries?
Any conformation of this would really be appreciated.
Many thanks.
