Wiring in a sounder for Texacom Veritas alarm

I wired in a new alarm about 16 months ago which works perfectly, however I put the control panel in a cupboard under the stairs powered by an FCU and the problem is if the alarm goes off it is very quiet. You can hear it outside but inside the house so I want to put a new sounder so that when the alarm goes off it is very loud.

My question is simply this, do I simply wire it in parallel to the existing external siren terminals?

Fit an internal sounder e.g pyronix twin alert it has both bell input and speaker inputs so is more flexible .
