The two wires for the existing thermostat connect to L and SL(on)
You then need another cable for the mains supply to the L and N terminals.
The red link is not required.

OR:

remove existing thermostat cable.
Get new cable with 3 cores and earth.
L&N in the boiler connect to L&N on the receiver.
1 in the boiler to SL(on)
Keep the red link
Earth connects to the earth terminal in the boiler and the earth terminal in the backbox behind the receiver.
