Wiring of Kitchen Appliance

If there is a join in the cable using terminal block then it must remain accessible. If it is to be covered over the join must be permanent. this is usually done by using through crimps and heat shrink sleeving.

The wiring to the spur on the right should be removed.

How does the wire get from the socket to the extractor hood, by the way?

Good luck with the rest of your kitchen fit.

I hope you get the result you are hoping (and seemingly) paying for.

It can be a minefield for the consumer.

Dont be too hard on the guy for only working half a shift, you did say it was friday afterall

Gentlemen, thankyou for all you advice, after a brief discussion this morning an additional socket is being added. We should now be back on track!

Are they going to fit accessable isolators for the appliances, and resolve the issue of the points directly behind the hob?
