Hello,
The dual stat in my central heating oil boiler packed in.
I purchased a new dual TLSC stat.
I have the wiring diagram. I am slightly confused with the labelling.
In this diagram, the live is fed through the overheat protection switch. The output of this switch is then fed to the common of the temperture control switch. Output 1 of the switch and output 2 of the switch are both fed to the same output. I presume this feed will be fed to the burner! Do I need to wire the two outputs?
Both of these outputs are fed via a box labelled U. What does the 'U' mean ?
On the original stat, the live was fed first of all to the temperature control resistor via a switch. The output of the switch was then fed to the overheat switch and the output was then fed to the burner.
I would be most grateful if someone could help with this problem.
Many thanks
Jimmy
