hi, i am considering installing a bathroom extractor fan. Can i wire the fan directly to my lighting circuit in the bathroom. If so do i feed wires from the lighting rose, or do i feed wires from the light switch (pull chord type) that is in my bathroom?

Thanks
Tony

thanks, is it as simple as rose to fan unit... no extra wiring involved... and what wires do i connect from the rose to the fan?

Thanks JohnD, does the triple pole isolator have to be fitted, and if so can it be in the bathroom.

I wanted the fan to come on when i pulled the light switch chord.. so is a isolator necessary?

yes and no

yes you have to fit an isolator, no its best not in the bathroom
