Wiring up an outside sounder...HELP!!!!

Hi,

I've fitted an alarm system I bought from a company that specialises in selling alarm systems to people for them to fit themselves, I've approached them for help but so far had no joy.

I've wired it all up, so far without issue, but I went to install the outside alarm box yesterday, and hit a problem.

The wiring diagrams between the panel and the box just don't make sense to me.

I have a ADE Accenta Mini G4 panel, and a Odyssey 1E External Sounder & Strobe.

The External sounder seems to have 5 wires to connect, but the Panel only has 4.

Can anyone help me!?

Hi ,
Have a look at page 9 in the G4 manual, there are 5 wires (strobe - is the other).

Its best that you understand what each wire does....or just join them like this ..

A.............D
D.............A
B.............B
S-............S

If you supplier wont help you ..dont buy off them again.
