Hi,
I need to wire a Neff induction hob to a standard cooker connection unit.

Below is a picture of the manual and the supplied cable.

Am I correct in thinking that I should

1) At the hob wire as shown in the centre (1N) diagram
2) At the connection unit, connect both live wires to the single live terminal and both neutral wires to the single neutral terminal

Any thoughts would be much appreciated

Middle picture. If I’ve understood you correctly. You’ll need to bridge the live as shown.

And the neutral...

Thank you. I haven't wired it up yet, but will be doing so tomorrow.

I can see the pictures that there appears to be a bridge on the neutral but not on the live (extra pics below). I just want to make sure that I am understanding this correctly.

Assuming that the hob terminals look like they do in the diagram (i.e. with that bridge on the neutral) do I just attach the wires as shown or do I need to add a bridge to the live?

Also, at the wall connection unit, can I simply put the pairs of wires into the terminals as they are, or do I need to change the crimps to a single crimp for each pair? (the diagram seems to show a single crimp, but I'm not sure if that is actually trying to indicate the need for a single crimp).

Any further thoughts would be much appreciated.
