Im finding it difficult to find a thermostat for this Baxi boiler im told it is too old and hard to find,

Problem is overheating and causeing the water to over flow and is coming into the ceiling, even though ive set it to low as possible ive been told its the thermostat

Put out the pilot and then check if you still have water pouring into the header tank

Could be pump over and not the stat

If its heating to that extent am suprised overheat stat isn't cutting blr off. Could do with some flow and return temperatures.

I know you said it's overheating but sometimes the phrases are used ambiguously!

Rojaca why would an open vented 38/3 have an over heat stat.
These where only supplied as a kit when sealed system kit used.

You work for the company so should know the appliances

They never said anything about that at the interview.
I was hoping they might tell me all this when I eventually get my ACS
