I bought some deep bowls (16 inch across) a couple of years ago. They were a deep brown, mahogany colour then, but now parts of it has gone pale. A friend thought that it could do with a coat of linseed oil. Is he right? If so, how do you apply it and where can I get some?

pure linseed oil takes forever to dry, better using danish oil in my opinion. a few coats with 24 between coats and a light buff with a soft cloth between and after.

You can get it in anywhere really, b&Q etc would all have it
