Wood stove cleaning, esp creosote removal.

Hi folks

Have an antique woodburning stove, bought fully restorated, getting a build up of black sticky muck!! Told it is creosote. Have read you can burn ali. cans, burn salt logs etc. etc. to loosen, then remove, this.

Would appreciate any info. Cheers
