As you can see below the paint job has not turned out as expected.
The wooden door was originally stained/varnished. When sanded it was still botchy (i assumed that this was due to uneven staining?).
Anyway it was painted with Johnstones Flexible primer and then Flexible Gloss (both same colour - sweet pepper). 2 Coats primer and 1 coat gloss.
Any ideas of why its turned out like this and also what i can do to correct it? My present plan is to just paint it black but dont want to do anything until i understand the underlying issue.
