Hi

Today i have turned my hot water tap and no hot water. The heating is working fine.
The Worcester 240 combi boiler is approx 13 yrs old.
Could any one give me any advice on what is the likely cause.
And is it fixable without a plumber call out.

many thanks

Could be the diverter valve, fixable by yourself but I would do a lot of revising.

Thankyou for your quick response...

It`s good to know that boiler maybe fixable...now to the revision which could be a very long job in its self :)

To be honest, if I were you, I would have an engineer in to do it.

It's an expensive part and if you damage it or fit it wrong you are just going to be faced with more problems.

Any ideas on were i get i picture/diagram of the diverter valve and where on the boiler it is located :?:

On a scale of 1-5....1 being easy....5 being hard to someone who has zero plumbing skills how hard a job would you say it is.
