I am having trouble with the diverter valve vibrating (humming) when hot water is turned on. Problem started after fitting new diaphram to diverter valve. The only way I can stop the noise is to restrict the flow of water to the boiler but then water flow is noisy. Can anyone help.

Are you 100% sure you fitted the parts inside correctly?

Its irrelevant which way round they were before!

yes, originally changed the diaphram because boiler kept tripping out but fault found to be secondary heat exchanger so replaced that. Everything was ok after that initially but then the diaphram on the diverter started to vibrate when hot tap turned on. It will sometimes settle down after a few minutes but more often than not continues whilst tap is on.
