Hot water in kitchen where boiler is situated. No hot water in bathroom. Had plumber out who was told by 4 WORCESTER engineers this was impossible! Any suggestions?

Well it is impossible but you have not explained clearly anything about the situation!

If no water in bathroom then jammed tap!

If water from hot tap in bathroom is cold then flow rate is too low to trigger boiler OR you have a cold/hot crossover.

However, the most interesting question is why did this "plumber" not diagnose the problem and fix it?

No jammed tap.
flow rate ok.
no cold/hot crossover.
All checked by plumber.
plumber couldn't diagnose problem.
Worcester engineer to come out, but not confident problem will be diagnosed by Worcester engineer if 4 have said impossible!

Faulty flow swich possible blockage in filter just before it .

Cant be flow switch as you would not get hot water in kitchen or bathroom.
Do you have mixer taps or thermostatic shower fitted that run from boiler hot water?

yes it can be the flow switch its the same as when a diaphragm starts to wear on a divertor valve depending on distance hot tap is from boiler certain taps will still bring boiler on , then when it goes or blocks completly no tap will bring it on

No it cant be the flow switch, as depending on how old the boiler is it will have a paddle type which either stick on or off no in-between, or the younger models have a turbine which fail in the off position only.
That happens with a diverter valve with diaphragm such as the giannoni diverter valves but never had it with a boiler with a flow switch set up.

Had several do it especially when the filter that is in it is partially blocked , or the paddle has a build up on it
