Worcester 24i - Which remote control device?

Hi.

I've got a Worcester 24i Junior which is installed in my attic.
I want to transfer the controls downstairs, to avoid trips to the attic to change temperature/timings etc.
I've found the literature on the accessories

but am not quite sure which is best - perhaps too much choice?!

Any advice on where to purchase/order the accessories from would be appreciated also.

I've settled on the DT10RF (as it's the only one suitable!).
Can anyone recommend a good place to buy it - several searches showing prices about £115-£130 (and some cheaper on ebay).

The DT10RF is pony and trap.

Fit an outboard Honeywell CMT927 radio thermostat, we've only had one duff one and must have fitted about 50 so far this year.

I'm using the DT10RT Optimiser with my WB 37CDi - it's a plug-and-play fit and works extremely well. The radio link is stable, even through a few internal brick walls and the timer is relatively easy to program.

I've found it very useful to be able to tweak the temperature on occasion without needing to get to the boiler which is at the far side of the house - it must be a real pain having to get into the attic to do that !

The 'Optimiser' version differs from the 'Digistat' version in that, rather than setting your boiler to come on 'X' minutes before you get up in the morning, you set it to an hour before you get up and it learns over a period of time just how long it takes to get to your required temperature and delays the start-up accordingly, therefore saving energy.

I bought mine from my local PTS store who were just as cheap as the cheapest online retailer I could find.

I agree with Simon, my recently installed DT20 'programmable' digistat (for a new Greenstar 30Si) is junk and offers half the control I previously had with a Siemens RWB9 which I would dearly love to connect up to the new combi - anyone know if this is feasible?

I've had a look at the CTM927 (on-line) - am not convinced that it'd bolt straight on (a la DT10RT) but will look further.

I'm not looking for anything wild and wonderful from the controller, just set it and leave it and occasionally stick it on during the day if needed - for which the DT10RT might be enough.

Hello Chaps (and chappesses).

I've bought a DT10RF, suitable for a Worcester Greenstar Junior 24i (as per the literature on the website) but when looking at fitting the receiver onto the boiler, I've run into a snag.
Doesn't look like it is the correct item.

You boiler is just a junior not greenstar junior. You need a completly different unit

i have a worcester boiler, junior 28i, 2yrs old...want a wireless thermostat as my gas bills are very expensive ...been looking at review sites for the best thermostat...recommended drayton digistat R2 or 3, or worcester greenstar digisat DT10 ...the first one is £50 cheaper, the other i believe is easier to install..is the R2/R3 much more difficult to fit... I'm on a low budget and have been searching on ebay for the cheapest around..pls can anyone advise
