Hi

Can anyone help me. We moved into our house a few months ago and have no instructions etc.

We have underfloor heating downstairs which has a Drayton thermostat on the wall.

The Worcester boiler is upstairs in the loft.

We also have a central heating thermostat that is a drayfoss one.

The central heating is working fine, but the underfloor heating has just stopped.

I have replaced the batteries on the thermostat and it is asking for heat (flame symbol showing) but the boiler doesn't come one. I am assuming the receiver is on the front panel of the boiler and it has no lights on it where it says signal or heating on.

I have tried pressing all the buttons and turning the boiler off and back on again but it don't come on. Can anyone help me with a possible solution before I call the plumber out?

Sounds like a communication fault between the two devices. If you can find the model of the Drayton thermostat and receiver and conduct an internet search for their installation and operating instructions, you might get some 'reset' instructions.

If the receiver isn't turning the boiler 'on' for the underfloor heating, but it is for the central heating, it sounds more like an electrical fault, so you would probably be better calling an electrician rather than a plumber.
