pcb's on these can be wrong from the packet. ive had 3 in a row wrong before i got a good one.

does it have the old style gas valve on it? they can cause intermittant gas lockouts. the new ones are made by dungs i think.

Get a new pcb and while at it order a pair of thermister sensors,
WHS part no; 8716 142 302 0.
They are not expensive and will probably be the cause of the problem.
The WB 28cdi fault finding guide is very poor and will always tell you to change the board.

You going to have to give us a better fault description than that, which light is flashing at what speed? they all point to different things. Is it nat or lpg gas?, gas valves are rubbish but so is board, aps, electrodes and the lpg versions gunk up.

Thanks to all your help i am going to ring southern electric today and get it sorted
